Appledore Book Festival success!

A fabulous day at Appledore Book Festival to launch my first book, Birdwatching in Devon and Cornwall - A Photographic Journal. The weather couldn't have been more perfect; warm and sunny, hardly a breath of wind and some stunning views across the estuary.

The event was well organised with lots of other local authors showcasing their work together with presentations throughout the day on how to write a book, self publish and market. Lots of good advice from many well established authors sharing their experiences and expertise.
A big thank you to Grayson and her team who worked hard to make the event a big success and to the wonderful people who came along to talk to us and buy our books. A thoroughly enjoyable day where we made lots of friends, particularly Roz and Jeff who were our neighbours in the tent. Good luck with the book ("Liar Dice") Jeff! I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Finally, and by no means least, a massive thank you to Rohan from Barnstaple Waterstones who had a tent at the Appledore Book Festival and who has kindly agreed to stock my book in Barnstaple Waterstones! Look out for it in the centre of the shop in the Local Interest section.
