After 5 years of writing and 8 years of photography, thousands of miles walked, blood, sweat and tears, I am delighted to announce we have taken delivery of Birdwatching in Devon & Cornwall - A Photographic Journal. Our dining room is full of boxes of books and I am now able to take orders through the website Shop.

Short Run Press Ltd of Exeter have pulled out all the stops to get the books to us early. It has been a fascinating journey, not just from the point of view of writing 60,000 words along with all of the research and fact checking, over 650 colour images from literally thousands taken by me over the last 8 years throughout Devon and Cornwall but being able to design the book from cover to cover, approving the drafts with Short Run Press and then going along to see the book in production.

I am also delighted to report that a number of independent bookshops in Devon and Cornwall have agreed to stock the book and it is also available from the Shop on my website. This has been a true project of passion and to see it now in print and available to the wider general public to help share the beauty and joy of ornithology, birdwatching and conservation in the Devon and Cornwall regions has been a real privilege.

This first limited edition showcasing 200 bird species in their natural wild habitats will be forever special to me. I hope you enjoy it too and discover the passion and beauty within.
